Welcome back to Living Tree newsletter. Thank you for your patience whilst we have been sorting out the mailing list. I am writing this whilst reading Jo’s final email to us all – this will not be the same. As we all know Jo gave so much time and had a personal response for many of us through this newsletter – all 316 of us! We cannot attempt to imitate this approach, so what follows will be a short news update from LT Chair Jo Millar and a list of events and information.

LIVING TREE NEWS

I want to thank so many of the Committee & Living Tree members who have all pulled together over the last 2 months since Jo died. We all very much hope to keep Jo’s legacy going, by continuing to provide support to anyone affected by cancer in our area. We will never forget what an incredibly special person she was. There will be a Celebration of her life, which her family are planning & is due to be held on Monday, October 8th, at 3 pm in the United Church, East Street, Bridport which will be more widely publicised in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, we will endeavour to fulfill all commitments which we had already begun. We have taken part in the Carnival, Melplash Show, Hat Festival & are due to be involved with the Charter Fair, Mindfest & much more in the months to come. Jo’s spirit will live on.
