Invitation to Join Dorest Poetry Walks Workshops

All Stepping into Nature events are free (you have to fill out a brief registration form and evaluation form but these do not take long) and provided through Stepping into Nature, Dorset AONB – a project set up to get older people and anyone living with dementia enjoying/reflecting on nature in Dorset, but everyone is welcome and anyone of any age and ability can come. Last year there was a real mix of both ages and abilities. These events all promote well-being in nature and encourage creativity outdoors and indoors. For the walks we are outdoors but the pace is slow and there are rest stops for readings/ discussion and brief stimulating and fun writing exercises: workshops in Nothe Fort in Weymouth 10am-12 noon on 19th June and 11th Sept. creative writing walks at Sandsfoot Gardens Park in Weymouth 10am-11.30am, 30th April, 30th May and 25th June. workshops in Dorchester 10am-12pm 2nd May, 11th June and 18th Sept walks in Portland 22nd May and 3rd Sept Numbers are important to the project, and it’s more fun and creative for everyone (including me) if there is a group, so I’d be very glad to see some friendly Living Tree folk there. Tickets are available by emailing me here (if there is a group of you you can email if easier), or book through Eventbrite:...
